Upon arrival we were asked to leave a deposit of around £400 which was something we should definitely been informed of prior to arriving but it was okay. Rooms were lovely and the air conditioning was top notch. Food was great the whole time and really high quality. Lots of very nice staff with the exception of a few who I found a bit stand off-ish and rude. Laughing and joking whilst looking at me made me a little uncomfortable. Regardless I would 100% recommend this hotel as it was amazing
I booked this hotel the morning after the earthquake thinking that because it is a new building that it would be safe to stay there until our flight. We got the taxi there (as our previous riad closed) and could not believe how much damage there was in the reception area alone. I tried to get a refund but to my shock and horror the owner kept the hotel open meaning that it was impossible. Amal, who is their sales executive, said in an email to me that only "small damage" was incurred to the ground floor and that the hotel remained open. It is delusional to tell me that that was small damage. You put all those guests in danger and your staff by keeping the building open. If there was a larger aftershock I do not think your hotel would mostly stay stood. And you want me so stay in a building that was split in two? Please tell me your logic as to how it was safe. If you are putting money before safety you are indeed selfish and should be ashamed of yourself. We lived in an earthquake zone and so we know what we saw was not safe.
The receptionist (if you see this I hope you are okay) looked petrified and incredibly stressed not knowing what to do with the guests because the structural integrity of that building was non existent.
With the mindset of this owner I do not trust that they will properly fix this building, which is a shame because it looked like it would have been a nice place before the disaster.
When we arrived we were told check in is 3 but it was 2pm on my booking. They wanted £79 deposit for any drinks we might take from the fridge which I found disgusting as we had 8 rooms they asked £1,000 from me! I rejected and I said everyone can pay their own as £1,000 for a deposit for drinks was stupid. They did assure me tho that it’s refundable at check out if I didn’t drink any which I made sure no one drank anything as they were 30 dirhams compared to 10 In restaurants. Other than this the hotel was posh, nice clean pool , clean hotel, good breakfast and good staff. You pay taxes when you leave the hotel which were £18 for 7 days. I think if they reduce this deposit then customer are happy
Located in one of the upscale neighborhoods of Marrakech, this hotel did not disappoint. The 2 bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable. Service was excellent and the food was tasty. Easy access to downtown!
I had the most incredible stay at the Kech boutique hotel in Marrakech! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful Moroccan decor and a tranquil atmosphere.
The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my every need was met. They provided excellent recommendations for activities and excursions in the area, and always had a friendly demeanor. The room was spacious and comfortable, with luxurious amenities and a cozy bed that made for a restful night's sleep.
The highlight of my stay was definitely the rooftop terrace, which offered breathtaking views of the city and the Atlas Mountains. I enjoyed sipping on a delicious cocktail while watching the sunset - an experience I will never forget.
The location of the hotel was also perfect, as it was within walking distance to many of the city's attractions and bustling markets. I loved exploring the vibrant streets of Marrakech and then returning to the peaceful oasis of the Kech boutique hotel.
Overall, I highly recommend staying at this hotel for anyone visiting Marrakech. The combination of exceptional service, stunning accommodations, and convenient location make it a true gem. I cannot wait to return and experience the magic of the Kech boutique hotel once again.
Everything was great until I was accused of stealing a bottle of water from the room fridge. They don't fill them up properly and then demand payment for stuff that wasn't there in the first place.
Modern hotel in Marrakech. Location is on the edge of a main street. Staff is friendly and speaks multiple languages. Breakfast was good with several freshly cooked dishes.
Service was outstanding, location is excellent, room air conditioning is 2/10 does not work properly the shower water is on and off gets hot then cold. Internet is lagging. Jezz NOT enough sun beds to accommodate customers. Room cleaners outstanding. Spa I would not recommend 300D because you will be stroked like a cat, this is what the massage was all about, this was so disappointing so they wanted another 50D so 350D altogether £35 for slightly stronger. On my legs she was pinning her fingers down which really hurt me so don’t bother spending 350D. Also was rude meaning a bit shouty. I told her to take the knots out from my shoulder she said your time is up. Did not feel anything good out of the massage, what a waste of my 30 minutes, rather get the massage done in UK. Had better and good value massages in Turkey, which I ended up booking 5 because I enjoyed it so much. Not here sadly.
